Eighteen people have been killed in Israeli air strikes and shelling across Gaza on Monday, according to the official Wafa news agency. Five people were killed in Israeli shelling on Rafah, with an unspecified number of others killed in a strike on tents sheltering displaced people in Khan Younis. Seven people were killed in shelling on an UN school-turned-shelter in Jabalia refugee camp, which has been under an Israeli siege for more than two weeks, Wafa added.
