The Israeli army said on Wednesday its troops have advanced deep into the area of Tel Sultan in Rafah in southern Gaza, where tunnel shafts were found and “terror” infrastructure was destroyed. It added that the forces continue to operate in Rafah and along the so-called Morag axis, located between Rafah and Khan Younis, where the army has not operated in the past. “During their operations, the forces located and destroyed buildings used for terrorist activity, as well as underground infrastructure, and eliminated terrorists,” it said.
