The death toll from Israel’s offensive on Gaza has risen to 50,846 since October 7, 2023, the enclave’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday. This includes “36 deaths and 41 injuries” in the 24-hour reporting period, the ministry said. It added that at least 1,482 people have been killed and 3,688 injured since Israel resumed strikes on Gaza last month, ending a ceasefire with Hamas.
