The Israeli army said its warplanes struck in the area of Maryamin in southern Lebanon and killed Hezbollah operative Hasan Ali Mehanna on Thursday. The army said that Mr Mehanna was an operative in Hezbollah’s engineering unit and was involved in numerous attacks against Israel.
