The head of the World Health Organisation has called for a ceasefire in Gaza. Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at the World Governments Summits 2024 in Dubai that the scale of international medical aid provided to Gazans so far is “a drop in the ocean of need that continues to grow every day”.
