The Israeli army said it had resumed the ceasefire after a series of deadly air strikes on the Gaza Strip, but vowed to “respond forcefully” to any violation. “Following a series of strikes, in which dozens of terror targets and terrorists were struck, the IDF has begun the renewed enforcement of the ceasefire,” the army said. It added that “30 terrorists holding command positions within the terrorist organisations operating in Gaza” were hit in the strikes.
