The Israeli army said that its warplanes on Thursday hit militants who allegedly operated from two UNRWA schools in Gaza city. The army claimed that “Alqahirah” School in Al Furqan and the “Musa” School in Daraj Tuffah were used as “hideouts” for militants and as an “active operational infrastructure” of the Hamas. It said that Hamas “operatives planned, directed, and carried out numerous attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip” from the schools.
