Jordan’s King Abdullah warned that Israeli settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank could send the situation in the area “out of control”. “The violent acts by the extremist settlers against the Palestinians in the West Bank could lead to the situation… going out of control,” a statement by the Royal Palace quoted King Abdullah as saying. The king made his remarks in a phone call to Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte to discuss the Israel-Gaza war.
