The Israeli military has claimed it killed more than 40 Hezbollah fighters and destroyed over 50 infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon during operations over the past week, Al Jazeera reported. In a statement, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said troops from its 91st Division identified a group of fighters near their positions earlier this week. According to the military, one fighter was killed while taking cover in vegetation, while a vehicle carrying others attempting to escape was also targeted.
