Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian says in his seven-hour meeting with Mojtaba Khamenei, the supreme leader emphasised “maintaining national unity and cohesion and paying attention to the people’s livelihood”. His remarks have been reported by Iran’s Fars news agency. Pezeshkian met Khamenei around the start of the president’s third year in office late last month, state ‌‌media said.
