Israelis on Saturday night held the largest demonstration against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since the war in Gaza began, with relatives of hostages held in Gaza saying they have entered a “new phase” of action against the PM. Family members said Mr Netanyahu has “abandoned” captives held in the Palestinian enclave. “We are forced today to begin a new phase in our just fight. From this moment on, we will take action to immediately remove you from power,” they were quoted by Israeli media as saying outside the Kirya in Tel Aviv.
