A Palestinian resident of the Israeli city of Rahat was shot dead after a stabbing at a bus station in Be’er Sheva, Israeli media reported. One person, aged 20, was injured in the stabbing and is being treated in hospital, Israel’s emergency services said. A Palestinian suspected of carrying out the attack was shot dead, Israel’s Kan public broadcaster reported. The suspect lived in the Bedouin-majority city of Rahat, near the Gaza border.
