Tehran-backed groups Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi rebels in Yemen have expressed their condolences at the death of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi. The groups are part of the Axis of Resistance, an anti-western political and military coalition led by Tehran. “Our deepest condolences to the Iranian people, the Iranian leadership, and the families of President Raisi and the accompanying delegation on their reported martyrdom,” said Houthi leader Muhammad Ali Al Houthi on X.
