Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi has called on people in the occupied West Bank, particularly in the governorate of Jenin, to confront Israeli projects that threaten to seize large amounts of land and take control of strategic regions. “The land confiscations, demolition orders, and construction halts targeting homes, economic facilities, and agricultural projects in the town of Silat ad-Dhahr, south of Jenin, necessitate a serious stand to deter this aggression against the Palestinian presence in the West Bank,” Mardawi said in remarks posted on Hamas’s Telegram channel.
