It emerged that Hamas presented a Gaza ceasefire proposal to mediators that included the release of Israeli women, children, elderly, and ill hostages in exchange for between 700 and 1,000 Palestinian detainees. The exchange would include 100 Palestinians serving life sentences in Israeli prisons and the release of Israeli “female recruits” held in Gaza.
