The Punjab government on Wednesday imposed a green lockdown in various areas of Lahore to combat smog and pollution. According to the notification, the restrictions has been imposed on construction work , plying of chingchi rickshaws, and use of commercial generators. Restaurants and barbecue services will also restricted after 8 pm in the most affected areas. According to a notification issued here, the green lockdown has been imposed in different areas including Davis Road, Kashmir Road, Egerton Road, Durand Road, Abbott Road, Empress Road, Queen Road and Allama Iqbal Road.
