A Greek military vessel serving in the EU’s naval mission in the Red Sea shot at two drones, a Greek Defence Staff official said. The EU’s mission in the Red Sea, dubbed Aspides, was launched in February to help protect the maritime trade route from drone and missile attacks by Yemen’s Houthi militants. Greece has supplied a frigate for the mission.
