Accra: On Dec 10, the Ghana health service said that it would vaccinate returning nationals and citizens against COVID-19 upon arrival at the airport from next Monday. The step was taken in the wake of concerns over the extremely low take-up of vaccinations. It was reported that Ghana has so far administered vaccines to cover roughly 5.7% of its population of 30 million.
