It was reported that fresh explosions were heard in Kherson, a port city in Ukraine that has been frequently targeted by Russian strikes since the start of the invasion in February 2022. Earlier in the day, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin had reported that one person was killed and six others were injured in overnight due to Russian strikes.
