France advised its citizens against travelling to Lebanon as tensions remain high on the southern border with Israel. The Foreign Ministry said citizens should avoid travel to the country unless absolutely necessary “given the security tensions in the region, especially at the southern border”. It also warned protests planned in Beirut may cause disruption.
