On Wednesday, a fire broke out at Karachi’s Zainab Market, barely two days after a fire destroyed numerous shops in the nearby Cooperative Market.

Smoke plumes could be seen rising from the multi-story building’s top floors.

On the ground and first floors of the market, there are garment shops.

Officers from the police and fire departments arrived on the scene and told the shop owners to leave.

On the Abdullah Haroon Road in Saddar, you’ll find Zainab Market and Cooperative Market.
