Yehuda Cohen, father of Israeli tank gunner Nimrod Cohen who was taken to Gaza on October 7 has said he received a sign of life from his son, who is believed to be kept in tunnels under the enclave. He told Israeli media outlets that his son conveyed a short message through two released captives last week, who spent months with him in Gaza, and said he is fine. “I understand that he is in good condition,” he said, adding that the soldier who was taken from the Nahal Oz military base near Gaza was kept in a “reasonable” situation.
