Exhaustion in US navy another major challenge for US: Analyst

Hamidreza Gholamzadeh, director of the Iranian think tank Diplo House, has said the Iranian side has set out the conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. “It is not only about the agreements with Oman, but also the removal of the US naval blockade, the waiver of the sanctions, and stopping the aggression against Tehran,” he said, speaking with Al Jazeera. “Iran has said that if this strait is to be reopened, then the Americans need to get back to the Islamabad memorandum of understanding and fulfill all the commitments that they have made,” he added.
