The parent of another Palestinian child injured in Israel’s war on Gaza. The 12-year-old boy is one of the first patients approved for medical evacuation through the now reopened Rafah crossing. He is one of the fortunate ones. His family was at a hospital in Khan Younis waiting for his transfer after receiving a phone call from the World Health Organisation on Monday morning telling them to prepare to travel for treatment in Egypt. “My son was injured in the war during the Israeli merciless bombing. He lost vision in both eyes,” said the boy’s parent.
