Eight lorries carrying food, medicine, and water were expected to cross into the Gaza Strip on Friday, a senior UN official said. Technical, political, and security issues have hindered deliveries. “We have gotten in approximately 74 trucks. We’re expecting another eight or so today,” Lynn Hastings, the UN Humanitarian Co-ordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, said in Geneva.
