The Israeli military said it would work with Egypt to secure its Red Sea region. This region has been hit by two projectiles since Thursday night as a result of the Israel-Gaza war. On Friday morning, an uninhabited desert region of the Egyptian Red Sea city of Nuweiba was hit by a projectile, security officials said. A residential area in the nearby city of Taba, about 10km from the Israeli coastal city of Eilat, was also hit by a rocket late on Thursday night, Egyptian security officials said. At least six people in the city were injured and have been admitted to Taba hospital.
