The fourth death anniversary of Dr. Ruth Katherina Martha Pfau is being observed today, on 10 August 2021. Dr. Ruth Pfau devoted more than 55 years of her life to fighting leprosy in Pakistan. She moved from Germany to Pakistan in 1961. Her Matchless services for humanity, society, and Pakistan will forever shine as a golden part of history. Dr. Pfau died on 10 August 2017 at the age of 87 in Karachi.
