Death toll rises to 13 in Israeli strike near major Beirut hospital

The death toll from an Israeli air strike near Lebanon’s largest public hospital has risen to 13, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. A child was among those killed. Another 57 people were wounded, the ministry said, 17 of whom had to be taken to hospital.
