Israeli police have arrested seven Palestinians from East Jerusalem who are accused of spying for Iran and plotting to assassinate an Israeli nuclear scientist. The suspects, aged 17 to 23 from Beit Safafa, were all arrested last month, Israel’s Kan public broadcaster reported on Tuesday. An Iranian agent made contact with one person, who then recruited six others, Kan reported.
