The death toll from a dawn Israeli air strike on a house in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahia on Tuesday has risen to 25. Medical sources said that the toll includes 13 children, and there were people still missing under the rubble, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported. The Israeli military said it targeted a weapons storage facility from which a militant had operated, and that “numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians.”
