During a diagnostic process in Balochistan’s Kalat area, at least 30 probable instances of the Omicron strain of COVID-19 were reported, according to Baaghi TV, citing provincial health officials.

However, no cases of the strain have been confirmed by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) in the district.

Head of the Coronavirus Operation Cell in Balochistan, Dr Naqeebullah Niazi said the suspected instances occurred in the previous two days.
