The California Supreme Court has refused Brad Pitt’s plea for review in his custody case with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

Pitt’s lawyers asked the Supreme Court to hear the issue after Judge John Ouderkirk was disqualified, thus disregarding a prior order that gave him more time with the kids.

“Petition and stay denied,” the top court stated in its ruling on Wednesday, upholding the appellate court’s disqualification decision.
