Beijing/Geneva: On May 23, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet’s visit to China started some unprecedented speculations. She would be visiting concentration camps, the reports said. On the other hand, the Chinese foreign ministry said that it would welcome her but reject “political manipulation” when asked about those reports. China has repeatedly denied any mistreatment of Uyghurs.
