China and France reaffirmed their commitment to promote the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, nuclear disarmament, and the peaceful use of atomic energy in a joint statement. The state media reported that the two countries supported all efforts to restore peace in Ukraine based on international law, and principles of the UN Charter and oppose armed attacks on nuclear power plants, the statement said.
