US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit New Delhi for the first time on the 27th of July and will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Senior US official reported that during his visit Antony Blinken will raise the matter of human rights violations. Dean Thompson said, “With respect to the human rights and democracy question, yes, you’re right; I will tell you that we will raise it”.
