Anti-missile system ‘in place’ in Israel: US Defence Secretary

The US military’s latest consignment of advanced anti-missile systems to Israel is now “in place”, Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Monday.He declined to say whether the Terminal High Altitude Area Defence system, or THAAD, was operational. “We have the ability to put it into operation very quickly and we’re on pace with our expectations,” he added.
