Jordan’s foreign ministry condemned Israel for its raid on Al Shifa hospital in Gaza City, saying the military is violating international humanitarian law. “The continuation of the senseless attacks….the targeting of civilian property, the continued systematic destruction of civilian facilities that provide basic services to Gazans, and the policy of collective punishment represent a grave violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, and constitute war crimes,” said spokesman Sufyan Qudah. The hospital raid violates Geneva Convention rules on the protection of civilians in wartime, the ministry said in a statement.
