Dozens of Palestinians were killed and hundreds wounded by Israeli air strikes on Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Gaza’s Health Ministry said 50 people were killed and 150 wounded in the attack. Other reports have given a higher number of casualties. The Israel military said the strike by warplanes on Jabalia, Gaza’s largest refugee camp, killed Ibrahim Biari, commander of Hamas unit the Central Jabalia Battalion.
