Medical staff had to leave sick and wounded Palestinians unattended in Al Shifa Hospital, as the Israeli army conducted a military operation there, according to reports. Medics have managed to carry other patients down to the courtyard of the Gaza hospital. “The entire Shifa complex is now being searched and everyone was asked to leave immediately and leave everything – even the patients,” a journalist at Al Shifa told The National.
