Israeli settlers have set fire to a Palestinian aluminium factory near the Ein Siniya checkpoint, the head of the local council told Al Jazeera. The official said that Israeli forces also prevented firefighters from reaching the site, causing the fire to spread to nearby agricultural land. The firefighters were later allowed to pass through and extinguish the fire, the official added.
