According to SITE, a jihadist monitoring Intelligence Group, Al-Zawahri released a video on Saturday marking 20the the anniversary of 9/11, and praised the role of al Qaeda in attacking Russian soldiers in Syria. He also warned that Jerusalem would never be Judaised. He didn’t mention the Taliban’s take over of Afghanistan.
