Haider Ali of Pakistan made history in the men’s discus throw event at the Tokyo Paralympics. Haider Ali won a gold medal in the Paralympics discus throw. He threw 47.84 meters in the third round and won the gold medal in the fifth round with a throw of 55.26 meters. Haider Ali is the first Pakistani to win a gold medal in the Paralympics.
