Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman urged world leaders to support the Taliban instead of “imposing their conditions for establishing their Western desired government in Afghanistan”. He said that JUI-F “warmly welcomed” the Islamic Emirates in Afghanistan. He said, “The Afghan Taliban can form their government independently and make efforts to form a broad-based government”.
