Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has promised to introduce a new “civilian” constitution that he said “will be embraced by all segments”, adding the country’s goal is to be one of the top 10 economies in the world. “We will work together to bring a civilian constitution to Türkiye,” Erdogan said on Wednesday after a Cabinet meeting, which lasted more than eight hours, in the capital Ankara.
