17 people died and six people were seriously injured after several lightning bolts hit a wedding party in Chapainawabganj district, 302 km northwest of the capital Dhaka, Bangladesh. Sakib Al Rabbi, head of Chapainawabganj’s Shibganj sub-district administration, reported that massive lightning struck a wedding party boat on the bank of the Padma River.
