Gadi Eizenkot, the leader of the newly formed Yashar party that appears best placed to challenge the ruling Likud party at the next election, has reacted to the news of Hamas agreeing to a roadmap that includes its disarmament.“Any agreement will be judged by one test only: whether it achieves the war’s objectives – destroying or dismantling Hamas’s military and governing capabilities,” Eizenkot wrote on X.
