The US positioned troops near Sudan as President Joe Biden continued to weigh whether or not to evacuate diplomats from Khartoum. “There has been no decision to move forward with any kind of an evacuation at this time,” said John Kirby, National Security Spokesman for the White House. “We’re just simply making sure that we’re ready in case it’s needed,” he added.
