In a cabinet committee meeting on EVM and I-Voting, Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said that Electronic Voting Machines and I-voting are revolutionary steps taken by the government to ensure transparent and fair elections in the country. Dr. Babar Awan also talked about electoral reforms and the right of vote to overseas Pakistanis and suggested introducing a robust campaign for public opinion regarding EVMs.
