Punjab interim Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday reduced the burial fee in graveyards from Rs10,000 to Rs3,500. Mr. Naqvi took notice of the increase in the prices and directed the municipal department to ensure the implementation of the direction. The provincial exchequer also granted Rs50 million to the Shehr-e-Khamoshan (graveyards) authority for burial, operational, and maintenance expenses.
