Police and health officials said that at least five people were killed and 13 wounded in an explosion inside the Rakhni market in Balochistan’s Barkhan. Barkhan District Health Officer Dr Abdul Hameed confirmed the death toll adding that the injured persons had been moved to the Rakhni Hospital. “One of the injured has died during treatment. The number of dead has increased to five while 13 are injured. The condition of eight injured is critical and they have been shifted to Dera Ghazi Khan for medical assistance,” he added.
